Ayan Pal, DTM, discovered his passion for creative writing while studying Engineering, setting a goal to be published during a school break in 2002. Although his initial novel remained unfinished, joining Toastmasters in 2010 reignited his dedication to storytelling. Balancing a full-time job at IBM, Pal’s Toastmasters experience, including serving on multiple committees and achieving Distinguished Toastmaster status, equipped him with skills in multitasking and goal-setting. His writing career flourished with notable achievements, including winning a nationwide short story contest, co-authoring a record-setting novel, and publishing acclaimed works. Saptan Stories, part of UK/India 2017, was a creative collaboration by Aardman and the British Council.
